Summer 2010

Well , our annual conference is finally here.  I leave for Columbus after my last class Monday night to join several other instructors who will be doing pre conference refreshers.  It will be a long week  but, there  has been a lot of hard work put in to make this a great one. Lots in store for your knowledge needs. There are many speakers set up for a week of fun and fellowship.  It’s not too late to invite someone to join us. Remember, our future as an organization depends on our membership. Please make an effort to try to recruit a new member. It still amazes me that people have never heard of OAEMS. I have passed out flyers to 3 graduating classes, from 3 institutions. Congratulations to all who have passed and are joining our field. The clock just started ticking for your certificate RENEWAL and it comes around in a hurry.

This is an election for several positions and we need backing and support for those running. Every vote counts and can make a difference. Also a lot of preparation has gone into our memorial. This is a tribute to those in our ranks who made the supreme sacrifice. It would be great if there was a big turnout for them and their families. It lasts only a short time but, their loss lasts a lifetime. Let’s all pay our respects to the families.

There will be a sponsored party with a DJ…let’s party hardy and enjoy a little time the way it used to be. Everyone asks about what happened to the parties…WELL here it is .
