Greetings everyone,                                                    January 4, 2008

I would like to thank the Fall Conference committee for setting up such a great conference. The speakers and classes were very informative. Again a special thanks needs to go out to everyone that works to put on a conference. 

 A very big “Thank You” goes out to Don Phillips for taking on several committee’s that I was chair of . This help frees me up to work on other items.

 I have a list of addresses of the members and past members to follow up on and try to recruit new members. I am always available for personal visits to your local groups. If anyone in district 5 has an EMS friend that needs CEU’s and doesn’t feel OAEMS can help, let me know I will try to help them understand.

To all of the vendors, A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to you for coming and giving of your time so we can have items in front of us to see and learn from. I am working on a summer 08 conference to have just hands on items and classes.

I am on the Incident Reporting Advisory Committee (IRSAC) for OAEMS.  IRSAC was required by Ohio Law and now the legislators have dropped the law and IRSAC is now by appointment and I remain on the committee. The new system is called EMSIRS v2.2

We met December 18, 2007 to go over the changes. Attached is a copy of my report.

 I am helping with the Spring 2008 conference in Mansfield, plans are underway but if you have idea’s please let me know. We want classes you need to learn about. Teaser sheets and maps are on the registration desk and everything is on the web site.
