            Greetings everyone,                                                    January 22, 2010

I would like to thank the speakers that presented at the Fall Conference in Lima. The speakers and classes were very informative. There were a lot of positive comments about the topics. I feel the vendor displays were a good, due to our economic climate. A Great Big Thanks to Shane and his committee for everything.

It is always great to have new members (many first timers) along with all the OAEMS “family” members in Lima, Ohio. The hotel and restaurant were interesting.

 I feel the conference went well, and if you did brave the hotel for us it was well worth the time and efforts, especially the speakers.

I have picked up several district reps. and if you can help get information to me about your area please see me anytime. I am always available for personal visits to your local groups. If anyone in district 5 has an EMS friend that needs CEU’s and doesn’t feel OAEMS is the way to go, let me know I will try to talk to them to help them understand.

As always, A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to all of the vendors for coming and giving of their time so we can have items in front of us to see and learn from. Especially in these economic times we really need you vendors. And we will do everything possible to recommend your products to our local companies.

I am on the Incident Reporting Advisory Committee (IRSAC) for OAEMS.

I will remain a member of OAEMS membership meetings. Each one will be at the conference in the main speaker area on Saturday evening, at 1700 unless otherwise stated. We may come up with some great ideas, and everyone is welcome. Please try to attend. Someone will chair these meetings and report back to all of you. Please bring concerns or your positive thoughts if you can.
