H.R. 6143 - Ryan White Reauthorization Act (RYAN WHITE REAUTH ACT.pdf) took out the E.M.S. notification requirements. It is imperative that you contact your legislators and explain that the section should somehow be reinserted. The Advocates for EMS are working on this also.

H.R. 3648 - Volunteer Responder Incentive Program Act  - This act prohibits the Federal Government from taxing benefits provided to volunteer emergency responders (FF and E.M.S. personnel) by state and local units of government.

    H.B. 500 - Reduced Cigarette Ignition Propensity Standards - (RCIP.pdf) This act requires that cigarettes in Ohio be designed not to burn while unattended. This act does not regulate where cigarettes may be smoked or by whom.
